Cacti Device Data Query Debug Issue

Post by Soumik123 »

Hi,

We are currently running Cacti Version - 1.2.18

We are having some issue for most of devices, when we add graphs for devices graphs not plotting.
we are getting error in Data query tab showing "No Items Found",
Capture 10.PNG
Capture 10.PNG (72.45 KiB) Viewed 378 times
after that if we go for Data query Debug then it is showing below snapshot "No SNMP data Returned" and also showing this error "missing in XML file, 'Index Count Changed' emulated by counting oid_index entries",
Capture 11.PNG
Capture 11.PNG (33.41 KiB) Viewed 378 times
Capture 13.PNG
Capture 13.PNG (32.3 KiB) Viewed 378 times
but we did not change anything in XML File.

After that we did some Data source Troubleshooting for same device getting some Error like "Debug not completed after 5 pollings Failed fields: last_result, valid_data, rra_timestamp2 RRDfile".
Capture 12.PNG
Capture 12.PNG (37.06 KiB) Viewed 378 times
Same happening for most of devices in cacti.
Any suggested solution?

You someone might have changed the devices ACL's to the default. With net-snmp anyway on a Linux box, the default allows you to see things likuptime, but nothing else.

Hi,

Do We need to check this ACL at Device/Router Side?

OR

This Devices ACL's to Default : Is there any Setting in Cacti Application OR in Router/Switch Linux Box OR in Network Setting?

Please Suggest.

You should start off with running snmpwalk from the command line. Then either going uphill or downhill from there.

You might want to try to edit the bulk walk size when you edit the device, you should see a column as shown below.

Instead of using the "auto-detect" set it to say 20. Also, increase your snmp timeout.
