hi! sorry for the dumb Q. but is it possible to get aliased interfaces in cacti ?
(ie. eth0:1 eth0:2 etc...)

I have been told that you have to change the preferred index ordering in the Interfaces.xml file to prefer either ifIndex or ifName ahead of ifDesc, ifAlias, etc. Review your Interfaces.xml for "preferred index ordering" and make that change, precident is from left to right. First match for uniqueness wins.

I am considering an override for this useful feature on a host by host basis in the next release.
