Cuts in graphics but device is up

Post by escaleok »

Hi there!

I have a series of graphs that have random cuts. When I detect the outage, I check that everything is OK, that there is traffic and that the device is up.

Sometimes the graph outage lasts 5 minutes, sometimes 20, it is totally random.

Any ideas?

You may need to increase your device timeout times. You can also increase your heartbeat if you want to hide the gaps. This second step requires updating your Data Source profile and updating your RRDfiles.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
