Reading Network Interface Graph

Post by lordjay »

Hi,

I have been looking through the forum and could not find this answer.

I have been monitoring multicast packets on a few switches bur I am confused on what I am seeing. The graphs shows that the port is getting hit with 500 million packets which is impossible and the when I open the graph to look at the details, the data is .3945 as an example.

How should I be reading this? How many multicast packets are hitting this port?

Thanks for any help.

Thats good to know! Is "u" microseconds?

I am still confused on how to read this graph though. When the left side says packets/sec and I see .5588 in the details, how many packets are actually hitting the port?
