BOOST ERROR

Post by mosiur »

I have installed cacti 1.2.17 on Ubuntu 20.04 using the docker container. I have installed the cacti as instructed. However, I have provided some additional resources for cacti. I am getting below 2 problems:

1) Loading for any leaf section is very slow it take almost 20sec load the graphs when clicked
2) I am getting boost error "BOOST ERROR: Failed to retrieve archive table name"''

I have added the screenshot of the error and also along with the configuration of the cacti

This is a known issue and resolved in 1.2.21+.

Mysql.

Server version: 8.0.29-0ubuntu0.20.04.3 (Ubuntu)

I read the docs finally and learned that mariadb is there, replaced mysql to mariadb, no issue anymore.

Good. I don't use MySQL 8. I'm sure it's a good release, but MariaDB 10.5++ I feel no need to go with MySQL any longer.
