Oracle Linux vs Ubuntu

Is there a general consensus that Cacti works better on Ubuntu or Oracle Linux?

Our group is standardizing on OEL 8, but we can install Ubuntu if needed.

Cacti doesn't particularly care what the underlying OS is. Its going to run basically the same on either.
