Graphs not showing at all

Post by Savage1ZA »

Hi,

My graphs are being generated, 100% correctly... However, when viewing the device in the device tree, the graphs do not show up under the device.

Graph debugging, datasource debugging, etc. Everything is correct. The data is there, the RRD is there, the graph is there. It is simply not displaying under the device when viewing it.

Help? First time I've ever seen this. Cacti 1.2.10, Ubuntu.

Hi,

Is it something related with this, when i try to execute:

/usr/bin/rrdtool create /var/www/html/cacti/rra//682.rrd --start 0 --step 300

The error is:

ERROR: you must define at least one Round Robin Archive

Please help. TQ

For my particular case, it was a brand new install. I added my Cisco gateway to it along with the localhost device (two devices being monitored currently on this new install). SNMP pull in all the interfaces, memory, CPU, disk drives, etc. as expected (been using v 0.8.8g for a long time). When looking at the "device list", everything looked good as I'd expected. Created the graphs for these two devices and the returned comment said all is good. After having it run overnight, none of the graphs are there--not in graph tree or in graph list for the device, just a broken bitmap on the upper right corner. Looking at the log tab, I see no real error concerning the poller, php failure or anything about the graphs. I click on "Troubleshooting / Data Source" and run a check on all the data source and they all got a green check mark. See attachments.

Thanks

To make sure this (graphs not showing) is not a one time thing or that it was tied to Server 2016 only, I re-download the Cacti-1.2.20.exe from Cacti.net and installed it on a Windows 10 LTSC 1809 workstation and got the same results with the graphs not displaying.

Hello to All . I have recently install Cacti 1.2.20 on two windows machines (for test purposes) . The installation runs smoothly with no issues on both PC. The poller working fine and when I insert a new device normally reports generated on C:\Apache24\htdocs\cacti\rra . My problem is that none of these generated reports can be seen on cacti . I have exactly the same issue on both PC’s . I really need your help here as I have searching on internet but it seems that Cacti is generally used more on Linux, so I cant find much for help . I have also attach a print screen of the reports as they appear . Thank you in advance for you help. I could realy use any update on this. Also if possible could you please Point me the Previus Version 1.2.19.exe as is seems that working properly in windows . Again thank you for your Help.
