Hi everybody,
I am new to cacti and I need your support please.
in our organization we installed cacti 1.2.19 on Ubuntu Linux server, we configured thold plugin on it and it was working fine till last week. thold plugin starts disabling and stopping by itself. no more logs and nor more notification emails. is it related to number of servers? now we have 150 servers.
below is the error messages in the logs.
2022-04-04 15:49:53 - CMDPHP ERRORS DETECTED - DISABLING PLUGIN 'thold'
2022-04-04 15:49:53 - ERROR PHP ERROR in Plugin 'thold': Maximum execution time of 299 seconds exceeded in file: /opt/cacti/plugins/thold/includes/polling.php on line: 283
I tries a lot but it was useless.
Any idea how to fix it. I got tired.
Thold plugin stops by itself.

I believe this is already resolved in the next release which will come fairly soon.
Re: Thold plugin stops by itself.
Thanks for your reply. New release of cacti?
Till that time no work around ?

Re: Thold plugin stops by itself.
Your options are to wait for the new release, or download the 1.2.x branch from github (but we are fixing another issue right now so you might wait).
Re: Thold plugin stops by itself.
Will wait. No choice.
I restored the server to previous restore point. Now it is working. The issue happened when I added more servers. The problem started when the Number of devices increased from 115 to 150. Is there any relationship?

I think this might be solved in the develop branch now.

Thanks for your follow up.. appreciated.
Actually last week I noticed the release of the new update. I did on our current Cacti and up to now it is working perfectly.
Thanks again
