Hello,
since a few versions, Cacti always places aggregated of multiple devices on all device pages and I can not find a way to remove them there. Is it possible to have aggregates just on a special folder at the tree?
best,
Jonas

Re: Aggregate placement
Hello,
Do you mean that the default device creation comes in a subfolder?
Root tree
+Device folder1
-----device name1
+Device folder2
-----device name2
I have the same problem, I want them to to be simply created like in older versions:
Root tree
-----device name1
-----device name2

Re: Aggregate placement
Hi Pomaiiika,
no, I haven't created new devices for some time, but a folder per device sounds also annoying.
My problem is, when I crate a aggregate, the aggregate is displayed at each devise it contains. Since most aggregates I use used to sume up a whole cluster, I like to place them at a dedicated folder. Placing them in a dedicated folder is still possible, but removing them from the device is impossible (or lets say, I haven't fund a way yet). Why? I like the device page to be clearly arranged, making it easy to notice issues with a single view.
My tree should look like this:
Root tree
-----device name1
- graph A
- graph B
- graph C
-----device name2
- graph B
- graph C
+Summary Folder
- aggregate of all B

Any suggestion how to remove aggregate graph from device graph folder?
