Interfaces changed after IOS-XR to IOS-eXR upgrade and reboot

Post by 0815 »

Hi,

is there maybe a know issue in Cacti 1.2.17.
After an IOS-XR to IOS-eXR upgrade inkl. reboot of the router our Cacti with version 1.2.17 stopped draing interface graph correclty.
It shows less traffic as it is. It seems like the snmp-index changed and it polls the wrong interface.
But "snmp-server ifindex persist" is in the configuration and our other PM-Tools do not have this problems, even a very old Cacti installation do not have this problem.

To solve it I need to delete all data source and create it new, but this is a lot of work and I don't know if it will happen again after the next reboot.

Maybe I did something wrong during integration of this router?
Does somebody have any hints for me?
What do I need to check in Cacti?

Thank you & best regards

Even with the "snmp-index permit" the index changed after the upgrade.
But 0.8.7e and other PM-Tools did not have a problem with it.

I also added something to the issues list:
https://github.com/Cacti/cacti/issues/4532

Any ideas?
May some parameter needs to be changed in Cacti 1.2.17?
