Version 1.2.17 Auto Upgrade?

Hello, I went to log into my cacti server version 1.2.17 this morning and instead was presented with an upgrade screen to upgrade to version 1.2.19. I proceeded with the upgrade since I had no choice, but my question is, is this normal behavior for Cacti? Does it automatically upgrade itself, is there a setting for this somewhere? Thank you for any info.

Cacti doesn't auto-upgrade. Your OS may though, and you probably installed Cacti through an OS package.
