Hey everyone. Hope you're ok.
I'm dealing with a situation with an old Windows Cacti server:
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- Cacti 0.8.8b
- Apache 2.2
- PHP 5.3.8
- MySQL 5.5
- Poller type: cmd.php
- RRDtool 1.4.5
- 300+ devices
- 4000+ graphs
As far as I know, nothing was changed in the server, however I'm not the only one with admin access.
Somehow, all Interface statistics graphs went grey, with "-1.#J" code instead of traffic values. Enabling graph debug mode "RRDTool Says:" nothing.
Only the traffic graphs were affected.
The rest is working fine.
After searching around, I tried to:
- remove the RRA files
- repopulate the poller cache
- run the rebuild the poller cache script
- run the repair the database
- repair the graph templates
- search logfile for errors, but with no lucky.
The interface related RRA files aren't beeing created/updated and I can't find any log of them in the logfile.
Also, the SNMP entries of the interfaces aren't in the poller cache.
snmpwalk works fine.
Looks like the poller is ignoring the traffic related files/graphs/entries.
Unfortunatelly, I can't upload/post any log due to the company's security policy.
Also, when running the poller via cli, I can see a lot of OK lines with some "illegal attempt to using time XXXXXXXXX when last update time XXXXXXX when last update is XXXXXXXXX (minimum one second step)" messages, but none of these errors are related to interface traffic data sources.
php.exe poller.php -d --force
Please, let me know any if you need any other info to help me.
Thanks in advance.
Interface Statistics RRA files not been updated - "-1.#J"
