Wanted to Hire: CACTI setup (for Cambium ePMP equipment)

Post by ToddChamberlain »

Hopefully this is the right place to post this? I want to hire someone to help us setup a working CACTI graphing system.

Our situation is that I setup the previous server, and that went fine.. but the HDD died and (of course) no backups. And this time around, I have no time. I'm neck deep in other projects, and this keeps getting procrastinated until next month, and then next month.

SO - I want to hire it out. Most of our gear is Cambium ePMP gear, and that used to work fine before the catastrophic hard drive death of 2020... so setting up a new server shouldn't have too many curveballs. But, whatever it takes -- we need a working graphing server, so anyone wants to PM me and discuss price and whatever info you need, that would be great. Thanx.

ALSO - you wouldn't necessarily have to go through and add all the individual devices (we can do that), we just need the server configured, and the ePMP Cacti Template imported, and we can then go through and add our devices and create the graphs.

Hi Todd,

I just wanted to reach out and ask a couple of things that others may also want to know:
  • Whom would the work be for?
  • Do you require any NDA's?
  • What country would the work be based in?
  • Would you server be virtual or physical?
  • Would you require just initial setup or ongoing support?
  • Do you have a template already for your ePMP devices?
  • Do you have the scripts to accompany the ePMP template?
  • Would remote access be granted, and if so, by want method?
  • How many users/devices would you be planning for?
As you are a new user, you don't yet have access to read private messages, so you'll either have to respond to people publically here or offer an alternative means of contact.
