Hi,
I recently upgraded cacti and spine from 1.2.14 to 1.2.18. I now have a bunch of devices down that are using ICMP availability checks. I need to ping the internet and things with no ports open to graph latency.
TCP and UDP pings are working. ICMP works in cmd.php poller but not with spine.
Tried all of the normal checks and it was working before the update.
I have checked the setuid of the spine binary and selinux settings.
Poller is being run by root
Any ideas?
[root@bau-cacti bin]# ls -l

Re: Spine 1.2.18 ICMP Ping Broken
Downgrade spine to 1.2.17 for now
or you can try compile spine from actual source from github. There are few fixes in last two weeks.

Let the Cacti grow!
Re: Spine 1.2.18 ICMP Ping Broken
Thank you. Downgrading to 1.2.17 fixed the issue.
I tried building a dev release but ran into build issues.
Thanks everyone.
