Issue with devices availability in cacti

Post by Nadou21 »

Hello everyone,

I's been few months that I set up my network monitoring with cacti. I've noticed since the migration of my devices that so many devices are not reachable (down) while actually they are UP, I know that it's not coming from the device itself because I can verify that from other monitoring Tool. I am using Ping and SNMP Method to poll the devices. and I notice that the availability is about 50% to 5 % for some devices. When I click on the device it doesn't show any SNMP or Ping error but they still dhow down from the management interface and I get an alert from monitor. I don't know if there is an a problem with the polling

From the log file I get those messages:

Code: Select all

ERROR: HOST EVENT: Device is DOWN Message: Device responded to SNMP, TCP: Cannot connect to host
Is anyone facing the same issue or knows how can I fix that?

Cacti Version: 1.2.16
