Once a device is added and you have a graph created for a physical interface, if you return to Console->Management->Devices and click the device name and scroll to the bottom and under Associated Data Queries, go to the far right under Actions, click the green arrows pointing in a circle to "reload query".
Return to the graphs for that device and you now have a graph for all vlan interfaces on that device.
Steps to replicate:
Add device via Console->Management->Devices.
After creating, click *Create Graphs for this Device.
Select an interface and create graph.
go to Management->Trees->YourTreeName.
Add device to Tree Items list and save.
Click Graphs tab and select device from list to view graphs.
After the poller has run, you should see the graph you created plus possibly two others (Polling Time and Uptime).
Return to Console->Management->Devices and click the device name you just created.
Scroll to bottom and under Associated Data Queries and to the far right under Actions, click the green arrows pointing in a circle to reload the query
Return to the graphs for the device and you now have a graph for all vlan interfaces on that device.
Is this expected behavior?
Return once again to Console->Management->Devices and click the device name you just created.
In the upper right, click *Create Graphs for this Device and you can select vlan interfaces to create graphs for that were already created earlier by reloading the query.
If you create a graph for a vlan that you hadn't previously, you end up with two graphs for that vlan.
Environment:
RHEL 8, Cacti 1.2.17
1st device tested is an Arista 7504N using the Cisco Router device template
2nd device tested is a Cisco 6506 using the Cisco Router device template
Graphs for vlan interfaces auto created when "reloading query"

Re: Graphs for vlan interfaces auto created when "reloading query"
Console >> Automation >> Graph Rules
Yes, thats expected when you have automation setup. Also, the automation is probably Bits per Second, while your manually created ones are probably Bytes. Its not going to duplicate the exact same graph.
