Help to install plugin

Post by Tazio4436 »

Hello everyone,
First my apology as i just send an email to Admin as I could not see where and how to post a question. Now that is sorted.
I installed cacti on windows server 2016 and I can login as Admin through web.
I want to install Threshold plugin (done lots of reading and searches on the net) and the instruction is to ssh to the ip address using putty.
I tried ssh as well as telnet but could not connected to the ip address.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks
Tazio

You don't need to ssh or telnet. On the windows server, just download this (assuming you are running a Cacti version 1.2.*)
https://github.com/Cacti/plugin_thold/a ... v1.5.2.zip
to your server. Extract it into the plugins folder inside your Cacti install. You then need to rename the folder to "thold". Ensure that the setup.php file (and everything else with it) is directly in that folder (some extractors will put everything into another subfolder that you dont need).

Then in Cacti, you should see the thold plugin under Plugin Management.
