Cacti 1.2.11 - Stops Graphing if Remote Device Reboots

Post by pradeeps »

Hello Folks,
I am running cacti on version 1.2.11 and in recent times, I am seeing issues where devices stop graphing randomly only on "Interface-Traffic" graphs. This happens if the remote device reboots, or went down and recovered. The only workaround now is to manually perform "Reload-Query" for cacti to start graphing. For some reason, cacti couldn't poll by themselves for any recovered devices. Is there any fix for this issue?

What do you have the reindex method set to for this device?
Is it on all devices ?

The re-index method is set to "Uptime" but I have tried changing to to "verify all" and looks like now even the workaround "Reload query" is not working. I have to delete and re-add the graphs. This is affecting only if the device went down and came back.
