cannot access graph details

I recently upgraded cacti from 0.8.8h (running on CentOS-6/php-5) to 1.2.16 (on CentOS-8/php-7) by migrating database and webserver-docroot, and then follow the upgrade instructions. Upgrade went fine, no errors during database upgrade etc.

But now, I cannot access graph details in e.g. tree view. With the previous 0.8.8h, I could click on each graph to get the daily/weekly/monthly view for this graph. In the current 1.2.16 all the graphs are not click-able any more. Also the graph action icons (e.g. graph details, graph export etc.) are missing. I have checked permissions, all granted.

Any Idea what's wrong here?

There is a new permission in the 1.2.16 release where you have to uncheck a setting to grant access. We will reverse that behavior in 1.2.17. But to get to the 5min, 30min, 2hr, 1day view, there is an icon to the right of the graph that you click on now. We had to take away the single click for full page zoom.

Had to uncheck the "Hide Graph Drilldowns" permission. Now the graph action icons are back again and I can access the daily/weeky/montly graphs via "Time Graph View" icon.
