Hi,
I use cacti 1.2.16 /from github) and 0.8.8b
I monitor same interface of same device with same Interface by using graphic template. But 1.2.16 shows inbound and outbound values as opposite.
For example, In 0.8.8b:
I know that, Inbound should be greater than outbound (this is behaviour of my traffic). So, it s normal
But, In 1.2.6 whows traffic in opposite way that's abnormal.
PS: I tested default with Bits/sec graphs also. Result is same. Also I double check, SNMP data quesries and Data source templates. And CDEF etc. also.
Have you any idea how can I solve this without swap outbound and inbound rrd values in graph templates?

Compare the OID's in the Resource directory XML files. They should be the same.

Re: Cacti 1.2.16 Reads Interfaces is opposite direction
Please look at this GitHub ticket to find out which system is wrong. Just follow the procedure. I did the comparison with the stock graph template on 1.2.17 and it was fine.
https://github.com/Cacti/cacti/issues/4029
After you do that investigations on both systems, tell me which one was right
I think that was your ticket right? There was a bug corrected in the 0.8.x to 1.x where in the 0.8.x system, if you restored from a backup, the in/out would reverse. That does not happen in 1.x.
