Cacti 1.2.4 and Camm 1.6. startup problems

Post by Moegoe »

Hi. I need some help please. I upgraded to 1.2.4 from 0.8.* and installed the Camm plugin 1.6.75 on Ubuntu 16 - PHP7. When i click on the Camm tab it will only start displaying syslogs after i clicked 'refresh' on my browser again. All you see is the circle turning sayin: Loading Cacti camm plugin... and nothing happens after that - even after 10minutes or so. When i click refresh / reload it changes to:Loading startup variables.... with the same turning circle and seconds later the screen page loads. It behaves the same with 3 different browsers. Seems to be getting below errors in my log file everytime the poller runs:

2020/12/09 09:26:11 - CMDPHP PHP ERROR NOTICE Backtrace: (/plugins/camm/camm_db.php[52]:camm_get_syslog_records(), /plugins/camm/camm_db.php[709]:CactiErrorHandler())
2020/12/09 09:26:11 - ERROR PHP NOTICE in Plugin 'camm': Undefined index: period in file: /var/www/html/cacti/plugins/camm/camm_db.php on line: 709

I also notice "Cannot load the ionCube PHP Loader - it was already loaded" in the apache error.log. Not sure if this is part of the problem.

For the IonCube error:

Check where you have the ioncube loaders loaded (i.e. /etc/php.ini AND /etc/php.d/somefile.ini ) ?
Remove one of these entries.
