Graph file properties seem to have wrong DEF path...

Post by ericjoyce »

I've installed cacti 0.86c, with cactid 0.86c. IIS on W2k3. Active Perl, MySQL, Net-SNMP, RRDTool.

I can bring up the web site but I'm not getting any graphs.

When I looked at the properties of the graphs, I noticed the DEF was like

DEF:a="c\:\Inetpub\wwwroot/rra/.........

Should it be like

DEF:a="c:\Inetpub\wwwroot/rra/...........

I'm getting values back via snmp here is a bit of the cacti.log

04/05/2005 12:19:10 AM - CACTID: Poller[0] Host[2] SNMP: v1: mgihq01.moyogroup.com, dsname: proc, oid: .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.6.0, value: 66

Thanks,

Also, anybody get this to work on IIS on W2k3?

The "\" slashes in front of the ":" are normal escaping characters. To get the mighty beast of IIS to work with Cacti, it is best to use both the documentation on the PHP web site combined with the snippets on our web site. There are requirements for the web sites (or is it the poller id's) ability to access cmd.exe that has always concerned me, but if you do those things, you should be in good shape.

Please verify that your rrdtool path is correct and that it includes the entire filename, including extension.
