Spikekills on cacti 1.2.15

Post by Carbosk »

Hello all,
I thank you all the Cacti staff for the great work.

Unfortunatelly, I have big problem to work with spikekills plugin. I had big
problem with cacti 1.2.3, with cacti 1.2.14 and now with cacti 1.2.15.

It's my fault.
I have three spikes in my graph. I set cacti web page as I am showing you but nothing happens.
I launch via consolle the removespikes.php script with all options but It shows me "No spikes found".

/opt/cacti/var/www/html/cacti-1.2.15/cli/removespikes.php --rrdfile=/opt/cacti/var/www/html/cacti-1.2.15/rra/b_customer3_wind_traffic_in_66.rrd --method=stddev --avgnan=last --stddev=1 --percent=30 --number=2 --debug
....

NOTE: NO Standard Deviation found in '/opt/cacti/var/www/html/cacti-1.2.15/rra/b_customer3_wind_traffic_in_66.rrd'

NOTE: No Spikes Found. No remediation performed.

Could you please tell me where I am wrong or give me some suggestions?

Thank you in advance
Regards
Stefano

That looks like real traffic to me. Those are not spikes.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
