Hi guys,
I have this OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.91.1.1.1.1.4 (from CISCO-ENTITY-SENSOR-MIB), the result of the snmpwalk is a series of values that do not interest me, only some I need.
How could I do?? I need a regex or is there another way?
And then I would need to align those values with other indexes, is it possible?
Thank you in advance!
Snuz

Re: Problem with an OID
Read up on how to write a data query. This is the best thing to do. The Cacti doco is pretty good.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?

Re: Problem with an OID
The problem is another, because I would like to take the example of monitorable interfaces and next to each interface put the output value of the optical rx with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.91.1.1.1.1.4 (from CISCO-ENTITY-SENSOR-MIB). But the indexes are different, so I don't know how to do

Re: Problem with an OID
You would NOT extend the interfaces Data Query, but rather write a new Data Query for measurements under that OID tree. So, to do this you have to become familiar with the OID Tree structure, and how to express that as a Data Query. The Cacti documentation has some examples. You will simply have to work through them and then through trial and error, become an expert.

Ok I did it but now the title of the graph is not complete (maybe the name is too long ??) I attach some images for allow you to understand.
In this image you could see that the title is not complete:
How could I do for display the full name of the graph?? I absolutely need it to recognize the graphed port

Re: Problem with an OID
Console > Configuration > Settings > Visual > Max Title Length.
You may have to "Re-apply Suggested Names" from the Graph Dropdown. Maybe not.
