Custom chart not working

Dear all,
Please help. In a week time cacti not showing custom charts.
Whenever i choose custom chart, cacti still showing 24 hours chart instead of what i choose the date and time.
I attached reference.

I am new to cacti. Where to find these files to edit? Note my version is 0.8.8b.

graph_json.php
graph_xport.php

Also suggest how to upgrade new version? Thanks in advance.

As i mentioned earlier, i am just start using CACTI. So please advice which version upgrade recommended for me? My current version is 0.8.8b
and please share guidelines for upgrade.
Also, some mentioned the work around, please help share more details where those files located to edit.

Dear all,

I am able to find the graph_image.php in location /var/www/html.
I edit only that file graph_image.php with 26**** instead of 16*****.
Now working! thanks a lot.
