Cacti0.8.8h zoom in last 24h problem

Post by Saleh »

Hello guys,
I have a cacti server version 0.8.8h in centos7. Every thing was good, suddenly in one morning I saw we cannot zoom in last 24h in graph but zoom features works great in more than 24h for example 2days or one week.now graphs default show 24h ago and it is unchangeable with graph setting (time span, time shift).I know this is old version but please guide me except for update.I tested every thing but I cant got succeeded.

Hi,

I have the same problem, with an Debian stretch with package cacti_0.8.8h+ds1-10_all.deb.
Started sundenly about 2 days too (?), found an old reference to bug id 2067 (viewtopic.php?t=46755), but can't follow to the bug.
Will try to apply the workaround ("in graph_image.php and graph_json.php change the 1600000000 to 2600000000"), if there isn't any sugestion.

Don't want to upgrade.

Thanks,
JC

Hi,

For those seeking for an answer, the problem is related to an hard coded timestamp "1600000000", which is Sun Sep 13 12:26:40 2020 in UTC, search in github.
In my cenario changed the following files:
/usr/share/cacti/site/graph_image.php
/usr/share/cacti/site/graph_xport.php
And in those files replaced the number "1600000000" to "2600000000", moving the problem into de future.

Solved for me, don't know if there are any caveats to this change

PS: There are also references to the files graph_json.php and remote_agent.php, don't have those.

Take care,

JC
