Ho to specify inbound and outbound on arrows link?
Hello, I'm here again for a problem with weather map plugin..
I'have weathermap plugin version 0.98a on a cacti 0.8.8h
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't edit the arrows link with the correct parameters.
I have a sensor for a ethernet port traffic on my router with inbound and outbound parameters. What I have to do to set the inbound on a arrow and the outbound to the other? I'wanna set the upload and download, but i can set only a arrow, and automatically the plugin decides what is upload and what is download, i can't choose.
In the pic you can see what i want to do..
any helps it's good!!

I guess you are looking at the router interface. So "in" means "into the router" and "out" means "out of the router" (to the internet).
Where you define the link, make sure that the first node on the NODES line is the one with the interface on it. (so "NODES router internet" not "NODES internet router")

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Re: Ho to specify inbound and outbound on arrows link?
Sorry but I'm here for another problem... I don't understand why the map don't refresh the web page automatically.
I mean, the maps updates correctly but I can see it updated only if I refresh the page (F5). If I don't refresh browser manually nothing appends.
This appends also in Cycling mode...
Can you kindly help me?
Thanks a lot!

Re: Ho to specify inbound and outbound on arrows link?
It uses the Cacti setting for refreshing graphs - is that enabled? (Sorry, I don't have a Cacti installation handy to check the name)

First of all thanks for the reply and support.
I've enabled everything and infact every 5 seconds i can se the map disapper and reappear, it seems in fact that it does get the update but really nothing appends.
The maps change and it's updated only when I refresh the entire page with F5

No, there is another setting on the Graph (?) tab in the settings which controls how often graph pages reload. That is the one I meant.

Yes, that was the one I meant. I use the same "graph header" HTML as Cacti itself, so if your graphs are refreshing by themselves every 5 seconds, so should weathermap.
If you look at the source HTML for one of the pages, you should see a http-equiv tag near the top with your refresh value in it.

Where is located the html page that I have to check? Because I still have the problem.Howie wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 10:35 am Yes, that was the one I meant. I use the same "graph header" HTML as Cacti itself, so if your graphs are refreshing by themselves every 5 seconds, so should weathermap.
