Cacti Login page keeps refreshing from HTTPS

Post by SRegmi »

Hi,

I have been using CACTI version 1.1.38 for more than a year now. I recently had enabled SSL connections and opened port 443 so that I can login to cacti from https as well. I can now reach the login page but when I enter the credentials nothing happens, the page just refreshes. It doesnt even prompt invalid user/password or anything.

At the same time http login is fine and smooth. Can someone please guide me if I am missing something here.

Regards,
SR

Hello did you check the setting to force connections over https ?
next thing I would do is go to dev tools in your browser click on network and see where the refreshes are happening

Also I would consider upgrading as there have been a boat load of fixes since 1.1.38

Hi,

Isnt the force connection only to force everything through https? No , I havent done it yet coz I dont want other users to lose connections who are using it over http. Cant update yet coz I would lose data so was hoping I could jsut solve the https connection.
