A few days ago I updated our Cacti 0.8.8 to 1.2.12. Because of the many changes it took me some time to get everything to work. I have 2 problems after the update, possibly because the way things work are changed but I can't find it.
1) our graphs with 95th percentile show 0 mbit in+out. The graph template uses: COMMENT: (|95:bits:6:max:2| mbit in+out)
I found this: https://github.com/Cacti/cacti/issues/871 which shows the same in message https://github.com/Cacti/cacti/issues/8 ... -353932104 And this should be solved with latest patches of Cacti in december 2017 and rrdtool 1.7. I still use Debian Jessie with rrdtool 1.4.8. I installed rrdtool 1.6 from Debian Stretch and that didn't work. After that I upgraded to Debian Stretch and installed rrdtool 1.7 from Debian Buster but that didn't work either. I had to go back to 1.6 and running that version now.
In the link I mentioned I read that vdef's should be used for this, so I tried that. It shows a value in the legend of my graph for 95th percentile but this can't be correct, please see attached screenshot.
2) we use Cacti for billing bandwidth and every first day of the month a script runs to export the graph values. Graph type is "Interface - Traffic (bytes/sec, Total Bandwidth)" and it contains: COMMENT: Total In+Out: |sum:auto:total:2:auto| and Total in and Total out.. In the graph the correct values are shown and nothing seems wrong. When I export (csv) the graph it doesn't show the totals, in the past I had Total in, Total out and Total in+out, my bash script could grab this value to report the usage of our customers, we also use thresholds to compare them to. Is there any way to get this to work again?
Thank you!
