SQL column ifIP that is not found for the Device

Post by fpiorek »

Hello,

Running cacti 1.2.7 and the interface statistics graph for a VPN device is empty.

When I reload the data query for SNMP - Interface statistics it shows success with 60 items and 10 rows but in the log I see:
AUTOM8 WARNING: Automation Rule[Traffic 64 bit Server] for Device[ukvpn1] - DQ[SNMP - Interface Statistics] includes a SQL column ifIP that is not found for the Device. Can not continue.

I have 7 other VPN devices just like this one that report the interface statistics just fine.

I do get other snmp data from this device just not the interface stats.

I did a verbose query on the data query and got this info for the interface statistics:
Total: 2.940000, Delta: 0.000000, Located input field 'ifIP' [walk]
Total: 3.180000, Delta: 0.250000, Executing SNMP walk for data @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.4.20.1.2'
Total: 3.240000, Delta: 0.050000, Checking for Sort Field change. No changes detected.
Total: 3.240000, Delta: 0.000000, Update Data Query Sort Cache complete
Total: 3.440000, Delta: 0.200000, Index Association with Local Data complete
Total: 3.650000, Delta: 0.210000, No Index Changes Detected, Skipping Re-Index and Poller Cache Re-population
Total: 3.660000, Delta: 0.010000, Automation Executing for Data Query complete
Total: 3.660000, Delta: 0.000000, Plugin hooks complete

I'm stumped if it is a device issue or something else.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Try to reindex that specific device and try again

I have this issue sometimes when doing a large import a few of the devices come back like that a reindex normally helps

Hi,

I have the same issue :

Code: Select all

AUTOM8 WARNING: Automation Rule[Traffic 64 bit Server] for Device[deviceX] - DQ[SNMP - Interface Statistics] includes a SQL column ifIP that is not found for the Device. Can not continue.
Can somebody explain me why or if it can be resolved automatically ?

Code: Select all
