snmpwalk vs cacti graphs

Post by mrscary »

working on a data\graph\device template.
I am copying an existing template for a dell switch, and changing out the OIDs for the ones for this switch model.
i run an SNMP walk and i get
snmpwalk -v1 -c public 172.16.1.1 .1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.1.1.4.2

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.1.1.4.2.0 = INTEGER: 2054544

snmpwalk -v1 -c public 172.16.1.1 .1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.1.1.4.1

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.1.1.4.1.0 = INTEGER: 1124908

but, when looking at the graph, real time or not real time, everything in a nan.. im REALLY REALLY new at creating the templates, to bear with me.
I took an existing temperature data template, graph template and changed those over really easily, but i cant do this particular one, so I am not moving forward until i figure out what i am doing incorrectly here... advice?
