ERROR: Problems parsing Multi SNMP OID

Post by galala2019 »

Hi;
I have made a fresh installation of cacti version "1.2.10" and spine 1.2.10 on Centos 7. All setup is fine and managed to graph some mikrotik gears. However, checking cacti log shows the following errors:
020/04/10 18:44:02 - SPINE: Poller[Main Poller] PID[12951] Device[MKT1] DS[NAS02 -] Graphs[NAS02 -] ERROR: Problems parsing Multi SNMP OID! (oid: ), Set MAX_OIDS to 1 for this host to isolate bad OID
2020/04/10 18:44:02 - SPINE: Poller[Main Poller] PID[12951] Device[MKT2] DS[MKT2 -] Graphs[IGW -] ERROR: Problems parsing Multi SNMP OID! (oid: ), Set MAX_OIDS to 1 for this host to isolate bad OID
Though many threads have discussed such an issue but hardly to find a clear resolution.

Any help is really appreciated.

After many efforts, finally managed to fix the issue. In case anyone experienced such an issue, you may follow these steps:

1- Go to Management/Data sources
2- Select the device name (of course that is shown in the logs) in the device drop menu.
3- Then select the datasource is not graphing (This should appear after you click the data source name) and your could disabled.

Hope this it can be of any help.

Thank you
