Apache2 keeps downloading index.php

Post by tatsumara »

hi!
I know this sounds more like an apache2 question but i have tried literally every solution there is online.
i am simply lacking the knowledge of how apache2 works so i can't really improvise here.
solutions i've tried are:
  • manually setting the application type in several config files
  • reinstalling everything
  • tried multiple php versions
and now i simply don't know what else i could do.

any help is appreciated!!

Just use CentOS7 you can do 99% of the config using yum. Then you only need to tune MariaDB and make two small changes to php.ini and install. There are boat loads of tutorials on YouTube.
Before history, there was a paradise, now dust.

You simply haven't enabled PHP in the apache configurtation which is normally done for you so maybe you removed something by accident.
