Web interface - some SNMP information not displayed

Post by mattfromtas »

Howdy folks,

When viewing a device in the Cacti web interface it seems the SNMP Information is cutting off the result of the SNMP query (see attached SNMP1.png). Initially I suspected the SNMP output might be inside a div/span element which was too small or not displaying correctly in the browser etc, but when inspecting the source code for the page that doesn't appear to be the case (see attached SNMP2.png).

Any thoughts on what could be causing this? We are using Cacti 0.8.8f - and I understand this is an old version and the obvious first step would be to update, but considering the internal process my team and I need to follow to facilitate updates like this, I'm hoping somebody might have an alternative solution/ideas :)

Thanks in advance.

You just need to hack the host.php file.
Before history, there was a paradise, now dust.

Can you be more specific about what changes are needed please? Cacti is fairly new territory for me.

Thanks.
