Create New Graphs - Dropdown-List for Devices will show 30 Devices only

Hello to All,
I found an issue, searched for it in this forum but I can't find anything matching.

So I like to describe this issue:
I am using Cacti 1.2.9 on CentOS7
I had defined 34 Devices
All Devices will be appear in "Management" --> "Devices" splited on two pages
Page 1: 1 to 30
Page 2: 31 to 34
(Everything fine)

Now I like to create new graphs ...
Choosing "Create" --> "New Graphs"
Open Dropdown-Menue for Devises (to selct my desired device)
Here, in this dropdown Menue, I will find only 30 Devices.
I will find the devices which can be found on Page 1 (see above)

As I used the older Version of Cacti in the past (Version below 1.x) and there is not such a limitation of the Dropdown Menue.
I assume this might be an Bug on the current Version of Cacti. Maybe it's an already known issue?

Actually it is neither

By default the system limits you to 30 entries in the autocomplete list as there were many reports of the system running slow. This is a parameter that can be changed in the system settings to have more, but (to me) there's no point really when you can start typing and filter down to the device you want.

thank you for your fast reply and solution.

With "Configuration" --> "Visual" --> "Autocomplete Eabled" == "No" it is working as expected (expected by me)
To me this issue is solved.

Like I said, it's not a bug/issue, it's merely configuration. You will find that with it disabled, your pages will slow down when you start monitoring a lot of devices. I wouldn't advise turning it off.
