Poller Times out and no graphs. Please help.

Post by scottd »

cacti = 0.8.6c
cactid = 0.8.6
PHP = 5.0.3
MySql = 4.1.10a
apache = 2.0.53
net snmp = 5.2.1-1
rrdtool = 1.0.49
OS = Windows 2000 Sp4

Installed and got to the cacti page. Setup a new device, Cisco 7206 router. When I run the poller I get the following entrys in the cacti log file.

03/30/2005 11:16:40 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 296 seconds exceeded. Exiting.
03/30/2005 11:11:00 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 296 seconds exceeded. Exiting.
03/30/2005 11:01:12 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 296 seconds exceeded. Exiting.
03/30/2005 11:00:40 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 296 seconds exceeded. Exiting.
03/30/2005 10:57:42 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 296 seconds exceeded. Exiting.
03/30/2005 10:56:03 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 296 seconds exceeded. Exiting.

Ive changed the setting with in cacti to use cmd.php and cactid as the poller. I've tried php.exe and php-win.exe with no success. SNMP to the device works fine. I cant get the poller to run.

There are no files in the rra directory and my graphs all show as broken images. I am guessing this is because of the poller not running successfully. I have seen this issue on the board before but I havent seen a resolution. If you need me to post more info please ask. Thanks

Turn on debugging for one cycle and post the log.

Ok will I found a problem with my config. Instead of having php_win.exe I had php.exe under php Binary path. :) Seems to be gathering data now. Still working out some issues. Ill be back.
