Does the red X on the right indicate that Cacti cannot write to that location? Check if it exists and the rights on it.

Hopefully you are using the latest stable/tag and not the development version. It's still under development. In the legacy version, you flow base directory must be created. Then, when you add listeners with the pattern selected, flow-capture will create sub directories such as day of the week, month of the year, etc. underneath that base directory.

Once the new version is release, there will be a service that basically will listen for all incoming traffic and automatically parse and store the data in a partitioned table. It's quite nice. Jimmy needs to hurry it up.
