Change graph templates

Post by gr85z »

Is there a global cli way to take all the assigned endpoints to template A and move them to template B. We have found the one template is not working for what we need and need to migrate everything to the new template which is giving us better results. We have over 2000 endpoints and doing through WebUI and only doing 20 at a time takes about 5 minutes to do those.
I have looked at the php scripts and couldn't find what I needed. Also have search the forum and have had no luck yet.
Thank in advance for anything that might help.

Not sure there is a CLI way to do that of the top of my head. Assuming its the device template you want to change, you can edit settings on mass by ticking multiple devices and selecting Change Device Settings from the actions box.

In Settings > Visual > Rows Per Page, you can go as high as 750. Not quite your answer, but selecting all may do it a bit better than 20 per hit.

That is what I ended up doing but in batches of 500 just because it took so long to run them. Thanks for feedback. And sorry for delay got hit with some other issues on different systems.
