Monitor bgp peering session graph with cacti 1.2.2

Hi team,

I have bgp peering session with other upstream provider and what i need is i want to have a monitor graph each bgp peering graph bandwidth on cacti 1.2.2 , so please help to give me to step to do if possible.

Depends on what you want to graph exactly, and what is returned in a way that you can graph. If you have the OID's and they follow a simple indexed pattern, you can do it using built in data queries. If it requires something a bit more complex, uses its own authentication method, or can't be reached by SNMP, then you'll need to write a script server script.

Something like that would potentially be a lot of work so unless someone has used the exact same technology, you'd either have to write it yourself or employ someone with the know-how to do so.

Hi team,

Do you have document step by step to configure with OID's ( I using Cisco Router ) and currently i used SNMP to monitor graph bandwidth interface only but for bgp peering session with other upstream provider i don't how to do so please help to provide me document too if you have.

You can have a look at the documentation repo on GitHub. It's not kept pace with the code but a lot of it is still relevant.
