Cisco SubInterface Updating

Post by capboy118 »

I am working with a Cisco Router and we recently deleted a subinterface and added a new subinterface. I saw the "WARNING SNMP not valid" problem and traced it to the non-existing subinterface.

I deleted that from the cacti servers and things are good. But when I went to add a graph for the new subinterfaces, it isn't in the list of things to select.

How do I force Cacti to update its Data Query [SNMP Interface Statistics] list to reflect the subinterface changes? Thanks

device interface list update

It's easy and non-obvious at the same time. :)
I got stumped on the same thing earlier this year.
Simply go to Console -> Devices -> (select device).
Click on "Create Graphs for this Host".
When the interface list comes up, you will see a small
green circle on the right hand side of the list header.
Click on this green circle to refresh the interface list.
