Thold and Weathermap delay

Post by areast »

Hi all

Does anyone have experience on delay for Thold and Weathermap
Seem the cacti poller cannot finish the process in 5min so Thold and Weathermap could not perform correctly?
How should I improve the process (tried use Spine but will corrupt all graph so I keep using cmd instead)
Please advise

I would suggest you look to either split the hosts and use the multi-poller architecture, increase your resources or use the separate thold daemon (you'll need a specific cron entry to run it if you tick the option to enable it). You might also want to try switching to spine instead of cmd.php and adjusting the number of threads/processes.

So is this mean the poller too slow cannot finish in 5min so that the thold and weathermap cannot process?
Improve server performance will help? like more CPU and memory

Potentially, are you using spine to poll? That really does help too.
