New graphs result in -nan

Post by TheCynicalCris »

Hi,

I've been building a network map in cacti. I've added around 10-15 devices that are working fine. But all new devices display -nan in all graphs, except Advanced Ping 1.3. Cacti reads snmp correctly from those devices, but doesn't graph them. What's the reason and how can I fix that problem?

Regards

Edit: When I change from cmd.php to spine all devices started to graps, but some non-snmp devices are down even with good ICMP ping respone.

Viewing logs I can see:
2019/03/26 09:55:07 - SPINE: Poller[Main Poller] Device[35] Device[35] Hostname[XX.XX.XX.XX] ERROR: HOST EVENT: Device is DOWN Message: UDP: Device is Down

Why UDP? When I use ICMP?

You'd have to get more information from the logs when it occurs. The difference in graphing is more than likely a permission thing.

You also do not say what setup you have for downed device detection.
