This must have something to do with the cron job. I left the default setting of 5 minutes.

Re: strange blanks every 5 minutes
Oops, posted before finishing:
The blanks are present in all the graphs. The sources are all SNMP.
What should I check?

Re: strange blanks every 5 minutes
I would start with the Cacti logs and see what's going on at that particular blackout time. Looks like CPU overload from the 10,000 foot view.

If 1.2, put the device in to debug mode, check the values being returned, compare those with the data source info/debug when editing the data source, make sure the values are not exceeding the maximum.

Re: strange blanks every 5 minutes
Version 1.1.38.
Checked the log. During these pauses, which last 40 seconds, there are no log entries. Until the next 5 min cron starts, and goes back to normal, until the final 40 seconds again.
Bug? Wrong setting somewhere?

Check the system's CPU during the blackout time for spikes.
