Needs in my company

Post by alaincef »

We have the need to have a monitoring solution that integrates network monitoring in addition to servers and applications
with these functions:
monitor networks
- Supervision and advanced monitoring.
- System integration alerts
- Change management and backup of the configuration of the network electronics
- Inventory of network electronics
- and control boards
Is Cacti able to support these needs?

Pretty much all but the last one as I'm not sure what you mean by that. You may have to put in a small amount of work if you have non-standard devices.

Yes, routerconfigs will handle backup of configurations. Thresholds (thold) will handle alerts, Monitor will display triggered devices.

The others are pretty much in the core such as Automation.
