Cacti built in logrotate?

Post by kmart »

Hi again,

Still getting things ready for a server migration and i left the replacement server running last night for burn in. This morning I was going to setup logrotate but i see that at midnight the logfile was renamed to cacti.log-20190314 and new one started for today.

This is obviously something different from my 0.8.8b setup where i had to configure logrotate for the log file.

I'm wondering though if there's some kind of retention policy with the new version of cacti? I only want to keep logs for a week at most and then discard them. How does the latest version of cacti handle log retention? I didn't see any parameters in settings but I'm still figuring things out.

Thanks

Maybe Settings->Paths->Logging is what you are looking for.
