Post by jayarathna »

Dear All,

It takes more than 5 hours to show the graph after it creates it.RRD tool is running well. is there any option to reduce that time to create within 5 minutes.

Thanks.

Check your time zone settings. I recall another post where someone had the incorrect time zone and it took an hour or two to show the graphs.

Yeah, that smacks of timezone settings being different between PHP and MySQL (when checking PHP check for both CLI and Web ini files).

My time zones shows as below

vi /etc/php.ini
[Date]
; Defines the default timezone used by the date functions
; http://php.net/date.timezone
date.timezone = Asia/Colombo

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
[root@DBill-Monitor ~]# date
Mon Mar 11 11:07:29 IST 2019
[root@DBill-Monitor ~]# timedatectl status
Local time: Mon 2019-03-11 11:07:36 IST
Universal time: Mon 2019-03-11 05:37:36 UTC
RTC time: Mon 2019-03-11 05:37:36
Time zone: Asia/Colombo (IST, +0530)
NTP enabled: yes
NTP synchronized: yes
RTC in local TZ: no
DST active: n/a

is there any other location to be needed to change?

Thanks.

Depends on your system. Some have separate PHP.INI's for Web vs Cli.
