Hi all,
I had a very old Cacti Setup which was a total wreck in the end so I did a complete reinstall including ignoring old data. So I did not even keep the .rra files as I wanted to build it from scratch. I have been on a recent version, but it was updated step-by-step from 0.8x around nearly 15 years ago!
Now I realized the newer Cacti versions offer different (default) graph templates than I used with my previous setup. Yes, I could go and manually re-create these templates but isn't it easier to use the old ones?
So I assume I could more or less just copy over the according template files.
Am I right? In which folder do they reside?
Thanks!

Re: How to Backup/ Restore Templates?
it appears that the templates aren`t files that can be backup directly (as far as i could understand is a combination of scripts and database entrys).
The best option is simply export the graphs that you want from the old cacti and import it into the new one, but i don`t know if you still have access to the old cacti web interface.
