Weathermap and Cacti 1.1.20 "Not Compatible, Legacy Plugin"

I'm running Version 1.1.20 of Cacti and have unpacked weathermap as a plugin . However the plugin architecture says "Not Compatible, Legacy Plugin"

Please see atached screnshot.
Please can you advise how i can get this works

The existing version of Weathermap is not compatible with the 1.x release of Cacti, it cannot be made compatible either.
Howie is working on a compatible version, but it does not exist yet.

We are out of luck until such time he releases the new version.

If you are willing, I believe that you can kinda get the development version of the 1.x plugin working but you'll have to do some manual work too. I've yet to try that myself but I will likely be doing so in the next month or so.
