Weathermap 1.0.0 timeline

Hey Guys,

Is anyone aware of the rough timeline on as to when the production version of Weathermap 1.0.0 will be available?

I’ve been holding off on moving to a new version of Cacti (currently still running 0.8.8.b), because the Weathermap is quite an essential plugin for our organisation. It came to light that I will need to move Cacti to a new physical host because the current one is out of warranty… It would be great if the time spent on Cacti would be installing a new major version, rather than moving something old across & having to spend more time later moving everything to a 1.x.x release.

I’d just like to evaluate if it makes sense to stretch my migration timeline to the new server

Howard Jones is working on it. In some respects you can get it working now under 1.x, though there are still unfinished/unpolished areas so it's not idea.

As ever, it turns out that real life gets in the way. I know more about installing kitchens and laying decks than I did when I started 1.0.0

I am aiming for August now, being realistic.

I'm pretty sure that Howie will release a 1.x version on github and make a sticky or something when it's ready BUT in the meantime people, please, be a bit more proactive and have your anxiety issues treated.

Hello, do we have any update on this?
We are currently working on Cacti 0.8.8h to keep the compatibility with the weathermap, but it would be great to be able to upgrade.
Are we sure the weathermap will be available for Cacti 1.x?
