Cisco router interface

Post by rubin »

Hi,

I have installed cacti newly, earlier I had some problem in the sql and then with your help I could resolve it, Thanx for that. But now the problem is that I don't get the interfaces when I create a new device. It does an snmp walk and gets only the device name and uptime. but not the full details abt the device (no interface information). I even tried changing the snmp string.

Output example:-

System: Cisco Internetwork Operating System Software IOS (tm) 7200 Software (C7200-P-M), Version 12.2(18)S1, EARLY DEPLOYMENT RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2) TAC Support: http://www.cisco.com/tac Copyright (c) 1986-2003 by cisco Systems, Inc. Compiled Fri 03-Oct-03 1
Uptime: 3712689508
Hostname: MUMACC04

Please help,

Rubin

when you first create a device it does only show that information. when you click on create graphs for this device it will show all the interfaces.
